About The Studio

Creativity Encouraged | Professional Tools | Friendly Atmosphere
We are constantly striving to be creative, be professional, and be a good time.

Have fun, be different.

I founded Endless Sound in 2020 with the purpose of creating a home studio environment that offered a professional sound but had all of the comfort of a home studio. Many long days and nights were spent dialing in sounds on some of my friends' projects over the years.

Over this time a few things became very evident in order to get the sound we were looking for:

  • Have fun while making music

  • Take the time before hitting "record" to get the sound right

  • Don't be afraid to try out new things

These are principles that have and always will live with Endless Sound. This approach applies to any and all new projects that come into the studio.

Spinning knobs, pushing faders.

Nothing can replicate the tactility of spinning some knobs to get an equalizer just right or riding a fader to get the lead vocal to pop in and out of a track.

Analog recording gear and outboard mixing equipment help bring the best out of performances. These are a few of our favorite tools we use on every project:

  • Avid S1 Control Surface

  • MP Midi Controller (ideal for tactile plug-in control)

  • Universal Audio 1176 Compressor

  • Retro 176 Compressor

  • Neve 1073 Preamp

A Warm Sound, Low Noise Floor.

The physical space where the majority of recording and mixing occurs is best described as warm and dry with a low noise floor, about 30-35 db(A).

The room size 23' x 12' with 10' heigh cathedral style ceilings which help keep its sound free of unwanted reflections and interference.

Characteristics such as these are what allow us to get detailed and focused recording while still offering flexibility to the user. A "roomier" sound is possible with the help of strategic placement of room mics, reflection panels, and treatment on instruments. However - we feel a dry, warm, low-noise starting point is a great starting point.
